Building a home server and pushing it out to the web…

Using advice found here:

https://getgrav.org/blog/macos-sierra-apache-multiple-php-versions

I have fully functional Apache site up and running and PHP with switcher so that I can run 5.5, 5.6, 7.0, and 7.1 flavors.  Currently WordPress and Jetpack only like 5.6, so that is where we will live for now.

I had some trouble with Jetpack, but advice found here and some tinkering with the php.ini got me sorted.

I do love “brew” for keeping the apache updated.  Also takes care of mysql installation.  I’m running on MacPro and seems to offer no drag.

I successfully got no-IP up and running and connected to router, with channeling of web traffic through the ADSL router into my desktop.  Other than some shifting tides of IP addresses both internally and externally, all seems functioning well.

Now up for installing Sentrifugo HR system into more of a production environment.  😉
