{"id":404,"date":"2016-03-14T15:06:15","date_gmt":"2016-03-14T12:06:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.aas.ru\/director\/?p=404"},"modified":"2016-03-14T15:06:15","modified_gmt":"2016-03-14T12:06:15","slug":"directors-challenge-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zimplicity.hopto.org\/techtied\/?p=404","title":{"rendered":"Director&#8217;s Challenge!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<table width=\"640\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Dear AAS Community,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just a few more days until the AAS Ambassadors go on their service learning trip to Botswana and Zimbabwe to work on their project &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aas.ru\/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fblogs.aas.ru%2fambassadors%2f2015%2f10%2f14%2fambassador-update-october-2015%2f&amp;srcid=2186&amp;srctid=1&amp;erid=43187&amp;trid=3e71f8c3-d039-4d13-97ec-a20ce1079bf7\">AAS Builds Schools<\/a>.&#8221; The Ambassadors are actively engaged in a primary school build, village development, and community garden project in Pandamatenga, Botswana. They are also working on a primary school build and maize field food program in Kamatanda, Zambia. In addition, our students are in partnership with the Baobab School in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe supplying textbooks and technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the past several years, the students have organized many fundraising events to support their education projects. We are extremely proud of their hard work and applaud their effort!\u00a0The adults in the community are now asked to help our students in reaching their fundraising goal by participating in the 2015-2016 Director&#8217;s Challenge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Director\u2019s Challenge is an opportunity for adults in the AAS community to join together with our children to help them achieve something bigger than they can do on their own.\u00a0<strong>We are inviting 20 families or groups to donate $1000 each to help our AAS Ambassadors spread global awareness through education and school building.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We still have eleven spots left in the 2015-2016 Director\u2019s Challenge\u00a0and would like to fill them before the students depart to Africa on their Discovery Week trip on Thursday, March 17.
